1. Rafter

This story is about Rafter, a two-year-old Red Heeler from Texas, and this is his story of getting lost in the country as his owner Bobby “Rafter, my 2-yr old red heeler, and I working in the barn and I got all wrapped up in a project. After a while, I turned around, and Rafter was nowhere to be found. I live out in the country and while there are many deer for him to chase, he has never left the property…Until today!  A nice lady found him behind her house, about 2-miles away, where he had noisily cornered a family of armadillos. She found his SmartTag, called the ID number in, and then contacted me to come get him, so glad I had the SmartTag. No Way would I have ever found him by driving around on county roads, thank you!”

2. Carrie

Carrie, a 16-year-old Dachshund from California, quietly slipped out of the house during a busy bedtime routine, and what could have ended in tragedy became a story of relief and gratitude. Her family shares how a SmartTag alert led to a fast connection with a kind stranger and a safe reunion: “We have a 4-year-old and 10-month-old so evenings are pretty busy family. My husband went to take the kitchen trash out and our dog, Caramel, must have followed. She is 16 and is now blind and mostly deaf, so she must have wandered. 3. Cosmo

Cosmo, an eight-month-old puppy from Ohio, took off after a deer, but SmartTag helped turn panic into a fast reunion.
