Old English Sheepdogs are often described as having “a clownish energy”. With his even clownish energy, distinct coat, and lovable personality, Rigby is always well known in communities that we live in. His fame is good because Rigby also has separation anxiety. His anxiety when I leave for work mixed with his incredible intelligence has resulted in Rigby learning how to unlock and open doors.
I made the decision to get him chipped because I was worried about him getting lost. When Rigby takes himself on a walk around the neighborhood, someone always spots him and calls Smart tag. It’s comforting to know when I get a call that Rigby is safe and I have the support of the Smart tag team behind me trying to keep him safe. I would hate to think what would happen to Rigby if he didn’t have Smart tag. Rigby has successfully escaped and been returned to me numerous times. It’s been so successful neighbors have asked for information on Smart Tag so they can have the same security as I do. While I hope to correct Rigby’s escaping patterns I feel better knowing I have the Smart Tag team behind me.
