Our one year old Cream Golden Retriever (Earl) managed to slip his leash and collar early on Saturday morning and take himself on a walk! My husband was frantic and got in the car to look for him. No Earl anywhere. A man told us he had seen a dog that fit the description in the parking lot of the school playing with another dog. He had NEVER been there before and it was a good distance from the house. Then my home phone rang, I almost didn’t answer because I didn’t recognize the number, but decided I should. It was VonMarie with SmartTag! A gentleman had just brought him into a local vet and they scanned him and got right in touch with us.
I ran through the house yelling for my husband and we went right there. Please microchip your animals! It is the best money we have ever spent!!
